Patrick Philipp received his Diploma degree in Computer Science with honors from the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) in 2015. He is ranked in the top 10 percent of graduates in his year. His thesis “Modeling of Clinical Practice Guidelines for Interactive Assistance in Diagnostic Processes” is focused on the synchronization of oncological workflows in the medical domain using probabilistic models.

Since 2015, Mr. Philipp is a PhD student at the Vision and Fusion Laboratory at KIT. He is working in close collaboration with the Fraunhofer Institute of Optronics, System Technologies and Image Exploitation IOSB. His recent works focus on the synchronization of workflows in orthopedic surgery and the research of models for medical anomaly detection.
