Probabilistic modelling of workflows

Project Description

The analysis of workflows can be used profitably in many domains (e.g. in industrial production, in companies or in the medical field). The challenge in modelling is that the database is usually incomplete and fraught with uncertainty. Starting from probabilistic models, methods for the comparison and recognition of workflows in different projects are investigated.

  • Discovering and synchronizing of workflows in companies (KIRA)
  • Estimation of the actual progress of a workflow in the operating room (KonsensOP)
  • Synchronization of workflows in the context of an expectation-conforming robot assistance in geriatrics (MEDICIN)
  • Synchronization of workflows for the diagnosis and therapy of cancer diseases (ASARob)
