From 2013 until 2020 Maximilian Becker studied Computer Science at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT). He wrote his master thesis on the topic of explainability of AI systems. Since 2021 he is a PhD student at the Vision and Fusion Laboratory (IES). Here he researches in cooperation with the Fraunhofer Institute of Optronics, System Technologies and Image Exploitation (IOSB) the explainability and trustworthiness of AI systems under privacy aspects.
