Martin Grafmüller studierte von 2003 bis 2008 Elektrotechnik und Informationstechnik an der Universität Karlsruhe (TH). Seine Diplomarbeit, mit dem Thema „Klassifikation von gedruckten Einzelbuchstaben mit Hilfe von Support Vector Machines", wurde durch Prof. Kroschel betreut und entstand in Kooperation mit dem Fraunhofer-Institut für Informations- und Datenverarbeitung (IITB). Aktuell beschäftigt er sich mit der wissensbasierten Zeichenerkennung mit Smart Cameras.
