Mathias Ziebarth studierte von 2004 bis 2011 Informatik am Karlsruher Institut für Technologie.
In seiner Diplomarbeit am Lehrstuhl für Interaktive Echtzeitsysteme beschäftigte er sich mit der erkennungsbasierten Segmentierung von gedruckten Zeichen.
Aktuell untersucht er Anwendungsmöglichkeiten von Wavelets in der deflektometrischen Oberflächeninspektion.
Dabei arbeitet er eng mit der Abteilung Mess-, Regelungs- und Diagnosesysteme des Fraunhofer IOSB sowie der Hochschule Pforzheim zusammen.
